Oleg Shatov is a Russian footballer, born on 29 July, 2012 in Nizhny Tagil. He plays as an attacking midfielder for Zenit St.Petersburg and Russian U-21.
He started a ward of MFK Viz-Sinara Yekaterinburg futsal academy.
In 2007, 16-year-old Oleg was loaned to FC Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast. Oleg stayed there for 4 years, managing 16 goals in 127 appearances. He played in the semi-finals of the Russian Cup in the 2007/08 season. In November 2010 Shatov was named FC Ural Best Player by the media and the fans.
In January 2012 Shatov was going to join CSKA, but moved to Makhachkala club instead. Shatov signed for FC Anzhi on a 4-year contract. However, after the club's financial problems in August 2013 he was offered a deal with Zenit St.Petersburg.
Since 2010 Oleg Shatov has been called up to represent Russian national teams.
