Oleksandr Kosyrin is a former striker. He was born on 18 June 1977 in Zaporizhia, Soviet Union.
In 1995 Oleksandr signed for Torpedo Zaporizhia, where he played until 1997, making 21 appearances. In 1997 the footballer moved to Dynamo Kyiv. Kosyrin had limited first-team opportunities at the club during his 1997-2000 spell at Dynamo. He spent the 1998/1999 season at Cherkasy on loan, registering 18 appearances and scoring 11 goals.
In 1999 Kosyrin switched to Maccabi Tel Aviv. He scored 4 goals in 17 games during the 1999/2000 season, subsequently moving to Arsenal Kyiv. During his 2000-2002 stay at Arsenal Kosyrin featured in 32 matches and scored 4 goals.
From 2002 to 2005 he played for Chornomorets Odessa and participated in 86 games, scoring 44 goals. In 2005 Oleksandr left the club for Metalurh Donetsk. During his 2005-2008 spell at Metalurh he netted 26 goals in 61 matches, later returning to Chornomorets. Kosyrin played there for two seasons, but his display was not so impressive.
During the 2010/2011 season Oleksandr also played for Odesa, making 41 appearances and scoring 15 goals. In 2012 the striker signed for Hoverla Uzhhorod and stayed there for 1 year.
