Oleksandr Nasonov is a defender for Metalurh Donetsk. He was born on 28 April, 1992 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
After graduating from Dynamo Kyiv sports school, Oleksandr left the capital and moved to Dnipropetrovsk.
There Nasonov signed a contract with Dnipro, but failed to get into the first team, and thus had to join the second squad, where from 2007 to 2011 he was a key back.
In 2011 Dnipro loaned Oleksandr to the youth squad of Volyn Lutsk, but the young defender has also managed to feature 6 times for the senior team, making his debut in a game against Shakhtar.
In 2012 Oleksandr was named among the main players of Volyn for the matches of the Ukrainian Premier League. In the summer 2013 Nasonov comleted a move to Metalurh Donetsk.
From 2009 to 2010 Oleksandr Nasonov performed for Ukraine U-18 and U-19, totaling 16 caps and 1 goal. Since 2012 he plays for Ukraine U-21.
