Oleksiy Bielik was born on 15 February 1981 in Donetsk, Ukraine. Oleksiy played in the first division until 2010. He performed as well for the Ukraine national football team till 2007.
Playing for the junior and youth teams, Bielik became the team leader, scoring 15 and 17 goals correspondingly.
The footballer seldom appeared on the pitch in the matches for FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
In 2008, Oleksiy moved on loan to VfL Bochum, but the same year signed a contract with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. The club management had to pay more than 5.5 million dollars for the transfer.
In 2011, the forward moved to FC Metalurh Zaporizhya. On 17 August 2011, Oleksiy Bielik debuted in the first team, appearing on the field in the second half of the match against FC UkrAhroKom Pryiutivka. In 2012 Bielik retired from professional football.
