Oleksiy Kurylov is a Ukrainian professional defender currently playing for Vorskla Poltava FC. He was born on May 9, 1988 in Kerch, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
In 2001 Oleksiy Kurylov started training at the youth school of Shakhtar Donetsk FC, where he stayed for 4 years. He became a very promising young footballer with developed skills.
In 2004 he signed a professional contract with Shakhtar Donetsk FC and played for Shakhtar-2 Donetsk FC and Shakhtar-3 Donetsk FC.
In 2006 he joined Metalist Kharkiv FC, but hardly ever appeared on the field. So, the defender was loaned to other clubs, such as Zorya Luhansk FC in 2009, Volyn Lutsk FC and Tavriya Simferopol SC in 2010 and Vorskla Poltava FC in 2011. In with Vorskla Poltava FC Oleksiy Kurylov remained on a permanent basis.
The footballer made his international debut in 2003, when he took part in a match of the Ukraine National U17 Football Team. From 2006 till 2010 he also performed for the Ukraine National U19 and U21 Football Teams.
