Oliver Fink was born in Oberpfalz, Germany. Oliver started his career at FC Schlicht, where he played till 1997. After that Fink joined FC Schwandorf for a year, but did not manage to fulfill himself there. As a result he moved to Regensburg. There Oliver played for local SG Post/Süd Regensburg. Soon that club was united with its opponent SSV Jahn Regensburg.
That very club appeared to be the starting point of Oliver’s long professional way. Although at the very beginning he played in the reserve team squad, soon Fink managed to get into the major one, where Oliver featured in 33 matches in 3 years. Because of strong competition at SSV Jahn Regensburg, Fink had to leave the club and move to FC Wacker. There he played twice as many matches for the same period of time and scored 3 goals.
The next step in Oliver’s career was FC Unterhaching where he spent two successful seasons. After that, in 2009, he switched to Fortuna Düsseldorf.
