A French footballer Olivier Blondel plays as a goalkeeper for Toulouse FC.
Since 1996 the player represented FC Rouen but in 1998 he moved to Le Havre AC which at those times played in Ligue 1. Even after the club’s relegation to Ligue 2 he continued his performance in the reserve team squad. Until 2007 the goalkeeper appeared on the pitch only 12 times. In the 2007/08 season along with the reserve team he featured at the Championnat de France amateur division. Thus in a year the player made 21 total appearances for the club. In the 2008/09 season Olivier joined Toulouse from Ligue 1. However in the new team he was utilized as a reserve player and appeared on the pitch only once. During the 2009/10 season Blondel starred in 9 matches due to the injury of the starting goalkeeper Yohann Pelé.
Afterwards in early December 2009 the player suffered ankle fracture. Because of the injury he could not play. Then the first-choice goalkeeper sustained a serious injury like his substitute. So despite the fact that Olivier was on sick leave for a few months he entered the major squad.
In the summer of 2010 Blondel joined Troyes AC playing in Ligue 2. Two years later he reunited with his former club Toulose.
