Orel Dgani was born on 8 January 1989 in Pardes Hanna-Karkur, Israel. Dgani plays as a right back.
In 2000 Orel joined the youth academy of Hapoel Hadera. In 2001 he moved to the academy of Maccabi Netanya. Until 2009 Dgani played for different youth squads of the academy.
In the summer 2008 the young defender penned his first professional contract with Maccabi Netanya. During three seasons Dgani took part in 74 matches for this football club. From 2009 to 2011 he captained the team.
On 31 August 2011 Orel Dgani signed a four-year agreement with Maccabi Haifa for a fee of $1 million.
Since 2008 Dgani has been capped 7 times for the Israel national U-21 football team. In 2010 the footballer made his debut for the senior side.
