Óscar Javier González Marcos is a Spanish football player. Currently he plays for Real Valladolid as a midfielder.
He was born in 1982 in Salamanca, Spain, and started his playing career in Real Valladolid. He made his debut in the home match against UD Las Palmas on October 7, 2001.
González became a regular player in 2002/03 season and the next year he became the team’s top scorer with ten goals, which did not prevent the team from relegation.
In 2004 he moved to Real Zaragoza, where he was as a regular player during four seasons. He did his best in the first season, scoring six goals; two of them were netted in the match with CA Osasuna, which ended with 2-2 draw. In the season 2007/08 Zaragoza relegated and Óscar moved to Greek side Olympiacos. There he appeared in 68 games, scored 9 goals but was inconsistent in his performances.
In 2010 Óscar González returned to Spain and joined Real Valladolid, the club he used to play for at the beginning of his career.
