Pablo Hernández Dominguez is a Spanish footballer who started off at a small football club named Castellon.
The scouts of Valencia were quick enough to notice the talent of the youngster who obtained his place in the youth team of the club in 2003 and made his debut for the main squad already in 2005. The player had to spend the following season with Cadiz on loan and by the end of it he was transferred to Getafe so that Valencia could purchase Alexis. The terms of the contract with Getafe presupposed that the player could be returned by a certain amount of money. At first the management was unwilling to get the young player back to the club but they had to reverse their decision as the talented youngster managed to deliver quality football. As a result in 2008 the player and the club shook hands over a 6-year contract. In 2012 Hernandez joined a Welsh side Swansea City, and in the summer 2014 moved to a Qatari side Al-Arabi.
As for his career in the national team it could be mentioned that his was on the list of candidates to go to the European Football Championship of 2008 but eventually he was dismissed. Hernández received another call up before the Confederations Cup when the coach needed a replacement for injured Andres Iniesta. So the first match of the player for his national team took place on July 21, 2009 against South African Republic when Pablo substituted David Villa.
The first goal for his national team came on November 18, 2009 in a game where Austria was thrashed 5-1.
