Pablo Martín Ledesma was born in 1984 in La Falda, Argentina. Currently he plays for Boca Juniors as a midfielder.
He played for Talleres de Córdoba youth team at the beginning of his career and consequently joined the first team where he made only two appearances before scouts from Boca Juniors noticed the footballer and in some time he joined them. Pablo made his debut when he was 19; it was a 2-1 loss at Colón de Santa Fe. He helped the team to win the 2007 Copa Libertadores. During his five-year spell at the club Ledesma made 106 appearances and scored 15 goals.
In the summer of 2008 he moved to Italy and joined Calcio Catania. During his first season there he appeared regularly but the major part of the following season he spent aside because of the injuries. In the last season with the club the situation improved as Ledesma returned to his position of a regular starter. Nevertheless in the winter of 2012 the footballer returned to his former club Boca Juniors and helped the team to win his very first match in the second spell there (that was a 2-0 win against River Plate) with a goal.
Since 2007 he has been called up for the national team.
