Pablo Mastroeni is an American footballer of Argentine descent who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Colorado Rapids.
He began to play football at NC State Wolfpack and Tucson Amigos. In 1998, Pablo got a first taste of professional football with Miami Fusion. Thanks to his strong performances, a young footballer cemented his place as a starter in the second season with the club and got the MLS Best XI award in 2001. Mastroeni made a total of 100 appearances for a three-year stint at the Fusion.
As early as 2002, the player struck roots at Colorado Rapids where he plays till the date. Mastroeni met with much success in 2010 when his side won the MLS Cup and the Eastern Conference Championship.
In between 2001 and 2009, Pablo Mastroeni was an international for the United States national team amassing 65 appearances.
