Pajtim Kasami is a midfielder, born on 2 June 1992 in Struga, Macedonia.
Kasami’s youth career began in the academy of Swiss side Winterthur, where the footballer spent three years and gained priceless experience both from playing for the youth team and from the guidance of the coaching staff. In 2006 the young footballer was noticed by Grasshopper and was offered to move there to continue his development. Pajtim accepted the offer and spent three years in another Swiss academy. In 2008 Kasami was sent to England for a year so that he could take part in Liverpool youth system trainings and improve his professional skills just to get closer to performance at professional level. In 2009 Italian side Lazio won the footballer over to their academy and he graduated from it a year later, becoming a confident professional.
In the summer of 2010 Bellinzona signed a senior contract with Kasami on permanent basis. The midfielder was given an opportunity to show his imperious form and workmanship in the first matches of the playing schedule. Pajtim made ten appearances and netted two goals during half a year in the club.
In the summer 2010 Italian side Palermo decided to secure the services of the midfielder and welcomed him into the fold. Kasami took part in 14 matches of the season and made a positive display, which drew the attention of Fulham. The English side landed the player in the summer 2011 and he continues to perform for it up till now. Pajtim made seven appearances for ‘The Cottagers’ in the 2011/2012 season. In 2013 the young midfielder was loaned to a Swiss club Luzern.
In the summer 2014 Kasami moved to Olympiacos.
From 2009 till 2010, Kasami was capped 17 times and contributed three goals for the Switzerland national U-17, U-18 and U-21 teams.
