Pantxi Sirieix. Biography

Pantxi Sirieix is a professional French midfielder currently playing for Toulouse in the Ligue 1. He was born on 7 October 1980 in Bordeaux, France.

Pantxi was formed in the youth ranks of Auxerre and turned professional with that club in 1999. He played for the Ligue 1 team for five seasons but managed to make only 28 appearances for that time. In 2004, Sirieix moved to Toulouse where he plays till the date. It’s a tidbit that Sirieix is the club’s oldest and longest-serving player. He established himself as a regular starter for Toulouse and as of April 2013 the midfielder has made more than 210 appearances for the club.

Pantxi Sirieix was awarded two caps to the Basque Country regional football team.
