Patrick Fabio Maxime Kisnorbo is a back of Melbourne Heart. He was born on 24 March 1981 in Melbourne, Australia.
Patrick started to play football in the academy of Thomastown Devils. The player performed for junior squads of North Glenroy, Essendon City, Fawkner Blues, Bulleen Zebras and Richmond SC. In 2000, Kisnorbo penned his first professional contract with South Melbourne and netted three goals in 67 fixtures for the club during three years.
In 2003, the footballer transferred to Scottish side Hearts and fired one goal in 48 matches till 2005, when he sealed a deal with English side Leicester City. Patrick made 126 appearances and amassed ten goals for ‘The Foxes’ during four years.
In July 2009, the back completed a two-year move to Leeds United and made his début for the main squad one month later. Kisnorbo got a minor head injury in his first game and kept on wearing a headband in remembrance of that event. At the end of the season, the footballer got the Fans Player of the Year Award. Patrick featured in 49 matches and kicked one goal for ‘The Peacocks’ as of December 2012.
At the beginning of 2013 Kisnorbo had a short run with Ipswich Town.
In September 2013 Kisnorbo moved back to Australia and signed for Melbourne Heart.
From 2001 till 2004, the back took part in 17 games for the Australia U-20 and U-23 squad. From 2002 to 2009 Kisnorbo was capped 18 times and contributed one goal for the senior national team.
