Paul Aguilar is a Mexican defender. He was born on 6 March 1986 in Concordia, Mexico. Initially Aguilar didn’t intend to play football. He went in for baseball which enjoyed wide popularity in Mexico.
16-year-old Paul caught the eye of Pachuca. In 2006 the defender completed a deal with this club. Soon the footballer made his Liga MX debut.
In 2007 Aguilar won the Clausura together with Pachuca. From 2006 to 2011 the defender featured in 136 matches and kicked 11 goals for this Mexican outfit. In 2011 Paul transferred to América where he soon became a regular in the first team.
In 2007 Aguilar made his debut for the Mexico national squad. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup he participated in a game against South Africa.
