Paul Gallagher is a striker of Leicester City. He was born on 9 August 1984 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Paul’s professional career took off in Blackburn Rovers in 2002. The footballer took part in several matches at the beginning of the season, but failed to clinch a regular place in the starting line-up.
In 2005, Gallagher completed a season-long loan move to Stoke City, where he netted 11 goals in 37 fixtures during his spell. In 2007, the striker sealed a temporary six-month deal with Preston North End and found the net one time in 19 games for the club.
In January 2008, Paul was loaned out to Stoke City once again and made seven appearances for the team till the summer 2008, when Plymouth Argyle secured the footballer’s services on temporary basis. Gallagher amassed 13 goals in 40 matches for the temporary team during one season.
In 2009, the striker put pen to paper of a contract with Leicester City, this time on permanent basis. Paul managed to become the anchor player of the attacking line.
In the winter 2012, the footballer went on loan to Sheffield United and scored one goal in six games for the temporary team during six months. Since 2013 he has played for Preston North End on loan.
