Paul Konchesky is a back of Leicester City. He was born on 15 May 1981 in Barking, England.
In 1997, Paul accepted an offer of Charlton Athletic and penned his first senior contract with the club. The footballer made 149 appearances and found the net five times for the club during eight years, excluding his six-month loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur, where the back featured in 12 games.
In the summer 2005, Konchesky sealed a deal with West Ham United and became the pivot of the team, whose solid performance on the left flank of defense secured a lot of victories for ‘The Hammers’. The footballer took part in 59 fixtures and fired two goals for the club during two years.
In 2007, Fulham secured Paul’s services and saw him score two times in 97 matches during three seasons. In the summer 2010, the back finalized a move to Liverpool, but went on loan to Nottingham Forest after featuring in 15 games during six months. Konchesky took part in 15 fixtures and went on to net one time during his temporary spell.
In the summer 2011, the footballer put pen to paper of a contract with Championship side Leicester City. Paul became the pivot of the new club and contributed two goals in 42 matches during the 2011/2012 season.
From 1998 till 2003, the back was capped 21 times for the England national U-18 and U-21 squads. From 2003 till 2005, Konchesky made two appearances for the full national team.
