Paul Mulders is an attacking midfielder of a Thai side Chiangrai United. He was born on 16 January 1981 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Paul’s youth career took off in A.V.V. Zeeburgia, where he trained during four years. In 1989 Ajax scouts took an interest in the young player, discovered his potential and offered him to play for the youth team of the club. In the summer 1989, Mulders accepted the offer and moved to the academy of the Amsterdam squad, where he performed for various junior teams during eight years.
In 1997 Paul decided to change Ajax for Haarlem, where he spent three years before graduating to the main team in 2000. The footballer penned a five-year contract and amassed 20 goals in 114 fixtures for the new club during his spell.
In the summer 2005, Mulders transferred to Eerste Divisie side SC Cambuur, where he made 60 appearances and found the net five times during two years.
Two years later, in 2007, Omniworld offered the midfielder a move. Paul accepted the offer and fired 11 goals in 60 games for the club during two seasons.
However, Mulders did not stop on that and completed a move to AGOVV Apeldoorn in 2009. He went on to net nine times in 58 fixtures for the new team during two years.
In the summer 2011, the midfielder finalized a move to ADO Den Haag and took part in 11 matches for the club during two seasons.
In 2013 he switched for a Thai side Chiangrai United.
From 2011, Mulders has been capped 14 times for the Philippines national team.
