Paul Verhaegh was born on 1 September in 1983 in Kronenberg, the Netherlands.
Paul started playing football at PSV Eindhoven, where in 2003 he began performing at a senior level. But he did not manage to get enough playing practice in the club and was given on loan to AGOVV where he appeared in 33 games in the 2003/04 season. The player did not return to PSV, he moved on a free transfer to FC Den Bosch. It happened in 2004. However, in the 2010/2011 season Paul got into the German Bundesliga side Augsburg.
