Pavel Čmovš is a back of NEC. He was born on 29 June 1990 in Plzeň, Czech Republic.
Pavel’s youth career took off in local Viktoria Plzeň, where the footballer performed during 11 years. In 2006, Čmovš was offered to join the academy and the youth team of Slavia Prague.
In the summer 2010, the player went on a trial at Dutch side NEC and took part in a friendly match. After the end of the game, the management decided to seal a deal with Pavel, who was sent on loan to Dutch side BV Veendam the same season.
The footballer’s début for the temporary club came on 13 August 2010 in the 1-1 draw with Telstar. Čmovš became the pivot of the team and netted two goals in 33 fixtures during his spell.
The Dutchman’s first appearance for NEC came on 6 August 2011 in the Eredivisie match against Heerenveen, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Pavel performed for the Czech Republic national team at all youth levels from U-17 to U-21 and took part in 19 international games till 2012.
