Peter Brezovan is a goalkeeper of Brighton & Hove Albion. He was born on 9 December 1979 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Peter’s professional career took off in local Vinohrady Bratislava, where the footballer had to face high competition for a place in the main team. Unfortunately, Brezovan did not manage to become a regular and completed a move to SKP Devín, but spent little time with the new club as well.
In 2000, the keeper moved to Czech side 1. HFK Olomouc, where he made 23 appearances from 2000 till 2002.
In 2002, Peter transferred to 1. FC Brno and spent five years with the new club. The footballer was not given an opportunity to take a regular place between the posts, and he took part only in 19 fixtures for the team during his spell. Brezovan was sent on loan twice during five years – first to FK Inter Bratislava, then to English side Swindon Town.
The keeper featured in 14 matches for the temporary team and impressed the management, which helped him to get an invitation to the club on permanent basis. From 2007 till 2009, Peter made 52 appearances for the club.
In 2009, the footballer sealed a deal with Brighton & Hove Albion and took part in 43 fixtures for the new team as of November 2012.
Brezovan was capped for the Slovakia national U-21 squad.
