Peter Crouch is an English footballer of Stoke City and the national team. He was born in Macclesfield and moved to London with his family when a child. Peter is one of the tallest Barclays Premier League players, as his height is 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m).
In 1998 Crouch joined the youth team of Tottenham and spent two years there before moving to Queens Park Rangers. The club was relegated from the First Division and the management sold the footballer to Portsmouth. In May 2002, the forward moved to Aston Villa, which sent Peter on loan to Norwich City in September 2003. A year later the player signed for Southampton, and another year later he transferred to Liverpool. In 2008 Crouch went back first to Portsmouth, then to Tottenham Hotspur in 2009. On 31 August 2011, Peter penned a contract with Stoke City, where he performs up till now.
Peter is a holder of the Football League Cup (1999), the FA Cup and the Community Shield (2006), the UEFA Super Cup (2005). The footballer frustrated various goalkeepers playing for eight different Premier League clubs. From 2005 till 2010, Crouch was capped for the England national team and contributed 22 goals.
British fans know Peter for his merry robotic dance goal celebration. That peculiarity bound the player with a ‘Robocrouch’ nickname.
