Philipp Lahm is a Bayern Munich full back. He was born on November 11, 1983 in a German city of Munich.
At the age of eleven Philipp began climbing the football Olympus, entering the Bayern Munich youth system.
In 2001 Philipp started to play for Bayern Munich II. The young defender’s debut match for the amateur team was against FC Wacker on 25 August 2001 and ended in the 2-1 victory.
Philipp's debut match in the Bayern shirt was on 13 November 2002. In 2003 Lahm moved to VfB Stuttgart on loan, making 53 club appearances during two seasons. The footballer returned to Bayern Munich in 2005, but for some months was out of action due to trauma.
In 2006 Philipp was elected to the FIFA's World Cup Dream Team, then in 2008 he was chosen to UEFA Technical Team, and in 2010 he was again included into the FIFA's World Cup All Star Team. In 2014 Lahm became the World Champion and retired from international football having made 113 appearances for Germany national team.
