Pierrick Cros is a stopper for FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. He was born on 23 June 1991 in the city of Albi, France.
The player began his career in 1997 when he joined Labastide de Levis’ youth team. A young goalkeeper stayed with the club until 1999 when he switched to Le Sequestre la Mygale football academy. At the new academy he spent 6 years becoming one of its best graduates. In 2005 the scouts from Toulouse Fontaines visited the academy. At the exhibition match Pierrick showed his best and proved to be a promising young player. Cros was offered a transfer to Toulouse Fontaines where he was destined to spend only one year until 2006. In 2006 the goalkeeper was enticed by Sochaux which offered him better conditions for further education.
In 2010 Pierrick’s youth career finished as soon as he was promoted to the senior team. That meant that he signed his first professional contract with Sochaux. Cros periodically appeared in the major squad at the position of second-choice goalkeeper. The player has participated in 20 matches so far and he still occupies the same position in the team squad.
Since 2006 till 2007 the goalkeeper represented France at U-16 level. Since 2007 till 2008 he starred for the France national U-17 team and from 2010 till 2011 for the France U-20 team.
