A Brazilian footballer Claussio dos Santos Dimas, aka Pituca, plays for Atlético-GO. He was born on 8 October 1928.
Pituca signed his first professional contract with Esporte Clube Dom Pedro Bandeirante in 2000. In a year time, the footballer opted to join Ceilândia, where he spent the next year. In 2002, a transfer to Brasilience happened. Whilst playing for the team Claussio became the champion of the 2002 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C and the 2004 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B. In 2006, Pituca was scouted by Associação Atlética Ponte Preta, where he stayed for a year.
In 2007, Atlético Goianiense signed the footballer on a year-long loan. Pituca managed to reveal his potential while performing for the squad. And the team’s head coach made it a priority to have such a player at the club’s disposal. The management offered a tempting contract on permanent basis. He agreed to take the proposal and in 2010 became the official member of the main squad. In 2008, the player became the winner of the Brazilian National Tournament of the third Division. He also won the Goiano Championship under the club’s flag two times (in 2007 and 2010).
