Prince Buaben is a Ghanaian midfielder. He was born on 23 April 1988 in Akosombo, Ghana.
In 2002, Prince was admitted to the academy of A.V.V. Zeeburgia and got an opportunity to develop his skills. In 2004, the footballer left for Amsterdam side Ajax and began to perform for the youth team of the new club. It took Buaben three years to get ready for a professional start.
In 2007, the midfielder graduated from the academy of ‘de Godenzonen’ and joined Scottish side Dundee United. Prince managed to adapt to the new country really quickly and clinch a regular place in the main squad. The footballer made 115 appearances and found the net eight times for the club during four years.
In 2011, Buaben transferred to English side Watford and penned a long-term contract with the team. The midfielder took part in 31 fixtures and fired one goal for the club during two seasons and was released in the summer 2013. Later on he joined Carlisle United, but was loaned out to Partick Thistle.
In the summer 2014 Buaben completed a move to Heart of Midlothian.
From 2008 to 2011, Prince earned two caps for the Ghana national squad.
