Qiu Tianyi is a Chinese footballer who now defends the colours of Wuhan Zall. He operates as a defender.
Qui Tianyi was born on January 31, 1989 in Shenyang, China. He launched his career as a youngster with Dalian Yiteng before moving to Harbin Yiteng F.C. in 2006. Soon the footballer grabbed his first goal. In the following season the towering defender became a regular in the first XI. During his time with the club Qui Tianyi made a total of 50 appearances.
In 2010 the footballer switched to Shanghai Shenhua. However, he suffered a broken arm and had to sit out most of the campaign. His debut came only on November 6, 2010. The following season saw Qui Tianyi make 10 starts. He bagged his maiden goal on May 6, 2012.
In 2013 the defender joined a newly promoted side Wuhan Zall.
In 2007 Qui Tianyi was included into the China U-20 squad and participated in the 2008 AFC Championship. On June 23, 2010 the player stepped into the China U-23 team and fired a goal in the friendly match against Hunan Billows F.C.
