A Spanish footballer Joaquín Álvarez Álvarez, also known as Quini, plays as a striker for AD Alcorcón. Joaquín was born on 4 July 1980 in Madrid.
In 1998, after graduating from the youth academy, Quini signed for Atlético Pinto and his professional career began. The young striker spent the 1998/1999 season at the club and moved to Valdemoro, where the next season would pass. From 2000 to 2003, the footballer spent time trying to make teams with such clubs as Leganés B, Puerta Bonita and Atlético Pinto.
In the summer 2003, the striker was scouted by Alcalá, where his senior career got a full-scale start. The 2003/2004 season was lined with five goals racked up in 32 matches. This time turned to be a beginning for better times in his playing career. In 2004, Quini moved to Alcorcón. In total, he made 37 appearances and netted 16 goals for the club. From 2005 to 2007, the striker defended the colors of Zamora. The spell was lined with 18 balls amassed in 64 games.
In the summer 2007, a move to Leganés happened, which turned to be a success. Joaquín managed to display a solid performance during the spell racking up 39 goals in 104 club’s fixtures. In the summer 2010, the player opted to rejoin the former side AD Alcorcón, for which he used to play during the 2004/2005 season. After all the terms were agreed, the striker became the team’s official member. The two seasons at the club were lined with 35 goals amassed in 89 matches. In 2012, the striker was loaned out by Racing Santander.
