Radja Nainggolan is a midfielder of Cagliari. He was born on 4 May, 1988 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Radja’s youth career started in 2000 after he entered Germinal Beerschot youth academy. For five years Nainggolan was one of the best players in the academy, and that got him attention of European scouts. Piacenza scouts took offered him to join the club academy, and Nainggolan agreed to move to Italy.
In 2007 Radja signed a professional contract with Piacenza and secured a place in the first team. For three years, from 2007 to 2010, Radja was a regular, making a total of 71 appearances and scoring 4 goals.
In 2010 Radja joined another Serie A side Cagliari. The player signed a long-term contract with the club and successfully played for it till January 2014. At that time he was lured to AS Roma on loan.
From 2004 to 2010 Radja appeared in various Belgian youth national teams, totaling 16 appearances and 1 goal.
