Rafael Bracalli plays as a goalkeeper for Olhanense. He was born on 5 May 1981 in Santos, Brazil.
In 2001 Rafael started his professional career signing a contract with Paulista. His performances for this club were hit and miss. When Bracalli joined the first squad the head coach used him as a substitute keeper, however he sometimes earned a place in the starting eleven. In the course of time the player became more confident getting into the starting eleven more often. As a result Bracalli managed to win the trust of the head coach appearing in the starting line-up during his last years in Paulista.
In 2006 Rafael was suggested to join Nacional with which he finally signed an agreement. In the beginning he rarely played as a first-choice goalkeeper. Having gained some experience and confidence, he took a regular place between the posts. For five years the Brazilian goalkeeper played 104 games for Nacional.
In 2011 Rafael entered into the negotiations with Porto which desired to buy the goalkeeper. Porto counted on him as on a second-choice keeper. Finally Bracalli sealed a long-term deal with this club. In the debut 2011/2012 season he made only one appearance serving as a substitute goalkeeper.
In 2012 Rafael Bracalli was sent on loan to Olhanense.
