Rafael Figueroa. Biography

Rafael Figueroa is a Mexican defender. He was born on 14 March 1983 in Torreón, Mexico. In 2003 Figueroa began his senior career with Altamira which played in the Mexican second-tier league.

The footballer’s solid performance allowed him to move to the Liga MX. In the beginning Rafael was part of Mexican side León. In 2005 Figueroa signed for Santos Laguna with which the player won several competitions including the Mexican championship.

In 2008 Rafael Figueroa was named the best defender in Mexican football.
