Raffaele Palladino is a striker for Parma. He was born on 1984 in Mugnano di Napoli, Italy.
Raffaele’s professional career started in 2001 after he signed for Benevento. During the 2001/02 season Palladino scored 1 goal in 8 appearances for the club. In 2002 he moved to Juventus, but the club management decided that Raffaele needed more time at the academy. In 2004 Palladino was promoted to the first team and immediately loaned to Salernitana, where he made a name for himself in pro football by scoring 15 goals in 39 appearances during the 2004/05 season.
Palladino was loaned to Livorno for the 2005/06 season. That season has turned out to be a failure as Raffaele netted only 2 goals in 22 matches. After the loan spell was over Palladino returned to Juventus, where he started 51 matches and netted 10 goals by the summer of 2008.
In 2008 Serie A Genoa signed the striker on a 3-year contract. From 2008 to 2011 Raffaele scored only 7 goals in 66 matches for the club. In 2011 Parma F.C. offered Genoa to buy Palladino as part of a major exchange deal. As a result, in January 2011 the Italian striker officially joined Parma.
From 2005 to 2007 Palladino played for Italy U-21 with a total of 15 caps and 4 goals. Since 2007 Raffaele was called up 3 times to represent the Italian national team.
