An Egyptian footballer Ramy Adel performs for Smouha Sporting Club as a center-back. Ramy was born on 18 August 1979 in Cairo.
In 1999, Adel signed the pro contract with Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab and his senior career started off. Before this had happened, the player used to play for the club’s youth squad. Ramy stayed with Al-Mokawloon until 2005 turning into its anchor player.
In 2005, terms were agreed with Al-Ahly. Adel failed to become the head coach’s first choice and spent two seasons on loan at the former side Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab and El-Masry.
In 2009, a three-year contract was agreed with El Gouna. He made 39 appearances for the club. In 2011, a move to Smouha happened.
On international level, Ramy appeared six times for the Egypt full side. His international debut happened in 2004.
