Raphael Spiegel is a Swiss footballer, born in 1992 Rüttenen. He began his youth career at local FC Rüttenen and in 2007 he switched to Grasshopper Club Zürich. Having graduated from the youth academy he joined the club’s reserves, where he became a regular, but at the beginning of the 2011/12 season was loaned to FC Wil.
He had a short spell at Wil and soon he was sent to SC Brühl on a loan deal. Spiegel made his debut in a 1-2 loss at FC Locarno on 6 November 2011. After his stay at SC Brühl Raphael Spiegel was sold to English Premier League side West Ham United.
In the season 2014/2015 Spiegel played for Crawley Town on loan.
He was called up to play for the Switzerland U17 and U19 team. In 2009 he was a part of the team winning the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
