Ravel Morrison is a midfielder of West Ham United. He was born on 2 February 1993 in Wythenshawe, England.
Ravel performed for various English junior teams, but spent the last year of his youth career in the academy of Manchester United. It took him little time to get fully ready for a professional level and gain the necessary knowledge of tactics and strategies.
In 2010, Morrison was officially invited to join ‘The Red Devils’, but the footballer understood he would not be given a regular place in the main squad at once. Ravel penned a contract and spent one year and a half with MU without coming on the pitch. However, a lot of English teams took an interest in the midfielder and were ready to lodge a bid for him. At the end of 2011, West Ham United secured Morrison’s services on permanent basis, but decided to send the footballer on loan to Birmingham City for the 2012/2013 season.
In 2014 Morrison was loaned to QPR.
From 2008 till 2010, Ravel was capped five times and contributed one goal for the England national U-16, U-17 and U-18 squads.
