A Nigerian-born Beninese footballer Razak Omotoyossi operates as a striker for Zamalek. Razak was born on 8 October 1985 in Lagos. He played for football clubs of Sweden, Nigeria, France, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Omotoyossi came from the youth ranks of Sunshine Stars. The beginning of his career had almost turned to be its end, as the player was accused of assaulting the referee during the match against Enyimba. Later on, it was proved that Razak hadn’t participated in the assault. A five-year ban was lifted and the footballer managed to continue his career.
In 2004, he made his senior debut for the team of Avrankou Omnispor. The following year the striker joined JS Pobè. The 2006/2007 season he would spend playing for FC Sheriff. Altogether, he scored 17 goals in 38 matches. The next season was spent at Helsingborg. Razak produced a solid performance netting 16 balls in 33 games.
In 2008, a year-long contract was penned with Al-Nassr. The footballer scored four goals in 9 games. In 2009, a move to FC Metz happened. Omotoyossi had a short spell at GAIS in 2010. In 2011, he played five games for Syrianska FC and moved to the Premier League club El Zamalek.
On international level, Razak’s performed for the Benin national side at full and U-20 levels. The footballer played in the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
