Răzvan Cociș was born on 19 February 1983 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. His first coach was Mircea Cojocaru. Cociș debuted for his hometown football club Universitatea Cluj. During his play in the latter team a few solid clubs invited him, among them SK Rapid Wien, K.A.A. Gent, Stade Rennais FC. Nevertheless, Răzvan moved to FC Sheriff Tiraspol.
Cociș made his debut in the UEFA Champions League in July 2004, in the game against Jeunesse Esch, Luxembourg. The footballer was named the best attacking midfielder of Moldova championship during two seasons.
In February 2007, the Romanian football player signed a two-and-a-half year contract with FC Lokomotiv Moscow. Răzvan performed in 54 games for the football club, scoring 4 goals. Cociș broke his arm during the training and left the club as a free agent.
After a short period in FC Politehnica Timişoara, the footballer moved to Saudi Arabian Al Nassr FC. In 2011, Răzvan Cociș moved on loan to the Ukrainian club Karpaty Lviv. Since the football club had failed to buy the player, Cociș signed a three-year contract with FC Rostov.
After two years with the Russian club Cocis switched for Ukrainian outfit Hoverla Uzhhorod in 2013.
