Reinhold Yabo is a footballer from Germany, born in 1992 in Aldenhoven. His father is Ghanaian and mother is Congolese and he has a dual nationality, German and Ghanaian.
Yabo began to play football in Teutonia Niedermerz and in 2001 switched to the academy of 1. FC Köln. In 2009 he joined the reserve team and made his debut with them in the Regionalliga West match against Fortuna Düsseldorf II on 8 August 2009. On 16 April 2010 Yabo made his Bundesliga debut with the club’s first team in the match against VfL Bochum.
In the 2011/12 season Yabo was sent to Alemannia Aachen, but made 17 appearances throughout the season and then picked up an injury that kept him aside until the end of the season and Alemannia faced relegation.
Reinhold Yabo represented Germany at all youth levels. In 2009 he wore the captain’s armband in the UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship, where the Germany national under-17 football team won the title.
