Rene Krhin

Rene Krhin is a central midfielder for Bologna. He was born on 21 May 1990 in Maribor, SFR Slovenia.

At the age of 9 Rene entered local Maribor’s youth system and 7 years later he was scouted by Italian Internazionale. From 2007 to 2009 Rene mastered his skills at Juve youth team.

In November 2009 Rene signed for Internazionale on a long-term contract. During the 2009/10 season Krhin made 5 appearances for Nerazzurri.

In July 2010 Krhin was transferred to Bologna in co-ownership deal. In 2012 Rene scored his first goal in Serie A and for now his statistics at Bologna count 11 games and 1 goal.

From 2008 to 2009 Rene Krhin was called up to play for Slovenia U-19 and U-21.

At the age of 19 Rene was named one of the most promising and talented young players in Slovenia and Europe.

Since 2009 Krhin represents Slovenian national football team.
