Rhoys Wiggins is a back of Charlton Athletic. He was born on 4 November 1987 in Uxbridge, England.
In 2006, Rhoys penned his first professional contract with Crystal Palace, but managed to show his skills only in one match during two years. In 2008, the footballer was sent on loan to Bournemouth, where he made 13 appearances during six months. In 2009, Wiggins sealed a deal with Norwich City and went on loan to Bournemouth once again after half a year with ‘The Canaries’.
After taking part in 19 fixtures for the temporary team, the back decided to stay with ‘The Cherries’ on permanent basis. Rhoys put pen to paper of a contract and netted two goals in 35 matches for the club during one season.
In the summer 2011, the footballer was invited to Charlton Athletic, where he was offered a place in the starting line-up. Wiggins accepted the offer and fired one goal in 45 fixtures for ‘The Addicks’ during the 2011/2012 season.
From 2004 till 2008, the back was capped 17 times for the Wales national U-17, U-19 and U-21 squads.
