Ricardo Clark is an American midfielder currently playing for the MLS side Houston Dynamo. He was born on 10 February 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, the USA.
Ricardo embarked on his professional career with MetroStars in 2003. Thanks to his strong performances he shortly became a pillar of the team and was close to get the MLS Rookie of the Year award. In the 2005 season, Clark played 30 matches for San Jose Earthquakes and in 2004 he moved to Houston Dynamo. During a four-year spell at Dynamo, Clark recorded two consecutive MLS Cup victories (in 2006 and 2007). He was also included in the 2006 MLS Best XI.
In 2010, Clark moved to Europe where he signed for German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. However, he was given little playing time at the club amassing only 15 league matches for two seasons. So, in 2012, Clark switched on loan to Norwegian Stabæk. In the summer 2012, the midfielder returned to the USA and resigned for Houston Dynamo where he plays today.
In between 2005 and 2012, Ricardo Clark earned 34 caps to the United States national team. In 2007, he became a vital part of the squad who won the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
