Iván Sánchez-Rico Soto or simply Riki is a Spanish footballer. He currently plays for Granada as a winger or striker.
He was born in 1980 in Aranjuez, Spain, and spent his youth career with Loyola, Ancora Aranjuez and Aranjuez. In the latest one he started his senior career.
Then Riki went on playing with Real Madrid’s reserves, C and B, until 2004 when he moved to Getafe CF. In September 2004 he made his first appearance in La Liga, when Getafe suffered 1-2 loss to RCD Mallorca. In March 2005 Riki netted in a 2-1 win against Real Madrid and the following season he scored eight goals in La Liga campaign.
In June 2006 Riki signed a five-year contract with Deportivo de La Coruña. He became a starter in his first season though the next season he appeared in fewer matches but scoring two goals more than in the last season.
Riki suffered an injury during the match against Real Madrid in the 2008/09 season and dropped out for two weeks.
In the 2009/10 La Liga season he scored eight goals for Deportivo and helped his team to finish the campaign on the 10th position.
After 204 matches for Deportivo Riki made a switch for Granada.
