Rinaldo Cruzado is a midfielder for Newell’s Old Boys. He was born on 21 September, 1984 in Lima, Peru.
Rinaldo began his professional career in 2002 after signing for Alianza Lima. For four seasons Rinaldo featured in 115 matches of the Peruvian club and scored 5 goals. In 2007 Cruzado joined Swiss club Grasshopper, where he stayed during the 2008/09 season, totaling of 35 appearances and scoring 2 goals. In 2008 Cruzado was signed by Sporting Cristal and returned to Peru. During the 2008/09 season Rinaldo played 14 matches.
In 2009 Cruzado signed a 1-year contract with Esteghlal, making 18 appearances and scoring one goal. In 2010 Cruzado was transferred to Juan Aurich, featuring in 28 matches and scoring 4 goals during the 2010/11 season. In 2011 Rinaldo joined an Italian side ChievoVerona. In 2013 he returned to South America jopining Newell’s Old Boys.
Since 2003 Rinaldo Cruzado is capped to the Peru national team.
