Rincón – full name Carlos Eduardo de Castro Lourenço – is a Brazilian stopper who currently defends the colours of Troyes AC.
Rincón was born on May 31, 1987 in São Paulo, Brazil. A product of São Paulo`s academy, he was touted as the new Cafu. He progressed quickly and soon caught the eye of MU`s scouts. The attack-minded footballer penned a pre-contract with the Red Devils. However Rincón failed to receive a work permit and returned to Brazil. In June 2003 Carlos agreed to a three-season deal with São Paulo.
In 2006 Internazionale recruited the skillful young defender. Soon he was loaned out to Empoli where he had to struggle for a regular place. Two years later Rincón moved on loan to Ancona and then to Piacenza. He registered 32 appearances during his stay at Piacenza.
In 2010 the Brazilian footballer joined Chievo on loan, though he failed to impress his new boss. After six month of warming the bench Rincón sealed Grosseto loan switch.
On August 18, 2011 Carlos made the move to Troyes AC. His contract runs until 2013.
