Robert Braber is a striker of RKC Waalwijk. He was born on 9 November 1982 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Robert began to play football in the academy of Excelsior, where he trained and performed for the youth team of the club during five years.
The footballer penned his first professional contract with NAC Breda in 2004. During his first season, Braber watched the matches of the main team from the substitutes’ bench and occasionally took part in the games for the reserve team. In 2005, the striker was sent on loan to Helmond Sport, where he made 16 appearances and netted two goals during his spell. However, those results did not prevent the management of the temporary team from securing Robert’s services on permanent basis.
Braber became the pivot of the new squad in the 2005/2006 season and amassed six goals in 34 fixtures before he completed a move to Excelsior. The striker became a regular and fired 12 goals in 62 matches for the club during three years.
In 2009, Robert sealed a deal with 2. Bundesliga side FC Ingolstadt 04, where he made 21 appearances and kicked one goal till 2010.
In the summer 2010, the footballer returned to the Netherlands and joined Eredivisie side RKC Waalwijk, where he featured in 72 matches and went on to net 13 times as of November 2012.
