Róbert Mak is a Slovakian footballer born on March 8, 1991 in Bratislava.
In 1997, Róbert started playing at ŠK Slovan. In 2003, he joined the club of Manchester City, where he played since he was 13 years old, first in the youth squad and then in the reserve side.
In 2010, he signed a contract with FC Nürnberg and immediately got his regular starting spot. On August 28, 2010 he made his Bundesliga debut in the second round match against SC Freiburg that was lost 1-2. Starting from the 11th round he became a first-string player and secured the position of a right winger. Nevertheless he was not always a starter and sometimes came on as a substitute. In his first senior season Róbert appeared 22 times and scored 3. His second-season tally totaled 17 appearances and 2 goals. On July 3, 2012, Mak prolonged the contract with FC Nürnberg till 2015.
As an international, Róbert passed through several Slovakian youth national team levels. He began in the U-17 squad and was capped 11 times. In 2008, he was capped for the U-19 team and played 7 matches. Since 2009 he has been representing the U-21 international team, appeared 20 times and scored twice.
