Robert Tesche is a German midfielder of Hamburger SV. He can be deployed as a striker as well.
Robert was born on May 27, 1987 in Wismar, Germany. He launched his career with Viktoria Mennighüffen in 1993. After his eight-season spell at the club he joined Arminia Bielefeld’s youth academy. The midfielder was tipped for a big future in the club and soon he moved up to the reserves. His debut for Arminia Bielefeld goes back to March 30, 2007 when he surprisingly appeared as a starter against Borussia Dortmund. Tesche played a total of 48 matches for the club.
In 2009 Tesche`s contract was terminated by mutual consent due to his poor finishing. He became a free agent and started looking for a new club. On July 5, 2009 HSV signed the player on a three-year-contract. He quickly established himself at the Imtech Arena and now he plays a key part in the club. In 2011 Robert signed a contract extension until 2014. Tesche has managed 4 goals since his arrival at the club. In 2013 Robert joined Fortuna on loan terms.
Robert Tesche has never been capped by Germany so far.
