Roberto Trashorras is a Spanish midfielder currently playing for Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish top league. He was born on 28 February 1981 in Rábade, Spain.
Roberto began his youth career at Racing Vilalbés where he grabbed the ins and outs of football for six years. After that he moved to Barcelona youth system. Trashorras made his La Liga debut in a match against Deportivo de La Coruña on 6 October 2001. However, it turned to be his only game in the Spanish top flight as Trashorras played predominantly for Barca’s reserves. In between 1999 and 2003, he scored 33 goals in 119 matches for Barcelona B.
In 2003, Trashorras switched to other Spanish giants Real Madrid, though again played in the reserves squad. After spells at Numancia and Las Palmas, he switched to Celta de Vigo where he enjoyed three successful seasons. In the summer 2011, Trashorras signed for Rayo Vallecano where he plays today.
In between 1997 and 2001, Roberto Trashorras featured for Spain at different youth levels from U16 to U20.
