Roman Grigoryan is a midfielder of Armenian origin, born on 14 September 1982.
Roman began his senior career at Torpedo-ZIL in 2001, later moving to Vityaz Podolsk. In 2002 he signed for Kolomna. From 2002 to 2004 Grigoryan made 18 outings and scored a goal for the side. From 2004 to 2005 he played for Titan Moscow, registering 28 outings and scoring 5 goals.
In 2005 he signed for Vityaz Podolsk, where he made 32 appearances and scored 5 goals. Grigoryan later moved to Metallurg-Kuzbass, but reunited with Vityaz in 2007. From 2007 to 2009 he participated in 101 matches and netted 43 goals. Due to financial difficulties, the club refused to compete in the first division. Roman moved to Shinnik as a free agent and penned an agreement with the club in 2010.
On 17 August 2011 Grigoryan switched to Krylia Sovetov, signing a three-year deal with the side. He made his debut in the Russian Premier League, coming on as a substitute in the match against Zenit three days later. Having played 22 times for the outfit, Grigoryan moved to Vityaz Podolsk in 2013. In 2014 he moved to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
